Happy Wednesday everyone!
It’s Wednesday again which means it’s time for WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
What is WWW Wednesday?
For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I have two books on the go at the moment. The first is Maggie O’Farrell’s I am, I am, I am. It’s a memoir of her seventeen (yes, seventeen) brushes with death. And I am loving it. I am hoping to finish it today and a review will be up within the next few days. I feel like this book has been reviewed to death but it’s so good I feel like I cannot not review it.

Next, we have a little bit of Christmas in July with Matt Haig’s Father Christmas and Me. This is not a new book but I did get an eARC from NetGalley as the paperback is coming out in October. Matt has had an amazing year with Notes on a Nervous Planet (TBR) but I do hope he gets back to his Christmas books soon as they’re always great reads.

What have you recently finished reading?
I’ve had a slow reading week as I’ve been busy at work and had visitors, so the only novel I’ve finished is Kati Gardner’s Brave Enough. Unfortunately, I didn’t rate it. See my full review here.
What do you think you’ll read next?
I was super excited yesterday to receive an ARC of P. G. Bell’s The Train to Impossible Places: A Cursed Delivery. I really cannot wait to get stuck into this book, I’ve heard loads of positive things about it so it’s at the top of my list.

Over the weekend I spotted a book in one of my local bookshops and I just couldn’t leave it behind. It’s Morag Hood (author) and Ella Okstad’s (illustrator) Sophie Johnson: Unicorn Expert. The online pictures do not do this book justice and I’m looking forward to reviewing it.

I am aware I should also get on top of my NetGalley list but I have some admin to do on that front, I’ll keep you all posted!
