Title: Blood Orange
Author: Harriet Tyce
Publication date: 19th February 2019

I was sent this ARC by Wildfire Books and although it’s not out until February 2019, I really couldn’t wait to read it. I am about a quarter of the way through and damn this book is good! It’s one of those anxiety-inducing books where some of the characters desperately need an intervention and I am loving it. Full review coming soon!

Title: Six Tudor Queens – Katherine of Aragon (The True Queen)
Author: Alison Weir
Publication date: Out now

This month I decided to use my Audible credit on this book from Alison Weir, which is the first in the fictional Six Tudor Queens series. I really enjoy Alison Weir’s writing but the books are fairly substantial so I thought I’d start listening to the audiobooks instead. This is a whopping 27 hours long so it might be a while until I get to writing a review.

I’m not hugely fond of the narrator but that may be because I’ve heard Alison Weir read extracts from her books and she really brings them to life. I wish she narrated her own books!

Title: Seaglass
Author: Eloise Williams
Publication date: Out now

This is a fabulous book from Firefly Press. Seaglass is a spooky ghost story and perfect for this time of year when we’re fast approaching Hallowe’en. Highly recommended.

Title: Pages & Co. – Tilly and the Bookwanderers
Author: Anna James
Publication date: Out now

I’ve had my eye on this book for a while and did get approved for it on NetGalley, but didn’t get around to reading it. Earlier this week I was visiting my local Waterstones with a friend and she found this signed copy. As soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it – it’s gorgeous and there is something so very appealing about the size. Can’t wait to read it.

  1. Ok, the Seaglass cover alone seriously has me drawn in—it’s so pretty! As you saw, I just finished the newest Picoult, A Spark of Light, and I think I’m about to pick up a witchy ARC that Kaleena just read. Although it has an animal death in chapter one….ughhhh. I have a historical fiction from the MacArthur era after that as part of a blog tour.

    1. You should definitely check out Eloise’s other book, Gaslight, too! That also has a gorgeous cover in the same theme.

I’m intrigued by your book about the MacArthur era, I have to admit it’s something I know nothing about. I’ll keep an eye out for your blog tour!
