Title: Pages & Co. – Tilly and the Book Wanderers
Author: Anna James
Publication date: Out now

I’m still working my way through this little beauty. Work has been so busy and I’ve been ill so I’ve not really had much time or inclination to read over this last week, but I am enjoying this book.

Title: Six Tudor Queens – Katherine of Aragon (The True Queen)
Author: Alison Weir
Publication date: Out now

I’m still listening to this audiobook – it has been great while I’ve not wanted to read so much as I’m tired. I still have 22 hours to go so this will be the last time it features in my WWW Wednesday until I’ve finished it.

Title: Blood Orange

I finished Blood Orange and the weekend and it is phenomenal. I’ve got a full review but it won’t be up until February, but I highly recommend you go get your pre-orders in. I predict this will be one of the best books of 2019…!

Title: Emmi in the City – A Great Chicago Fire Survival Story
Author: Salima Alikhan
Publication date: 1st February 2019 (UK), 1st January 2019 (US)

Emmi in the City is a book I requested from NetGalley as I knew absolutely nothing about the Great Chicago Fire. This book is intended to introduce the subject to children through the eyes of the protagonist Emmi. As part of my NetGalley review, I wrote:

This is a wonderful tale about the Great Chicago Fire and one girl’s determination to survive. Well told and beautifully illustrated, it successfully explains the impact of the fire but also how each of us are human first and foremost, regardless of our gender, nationality, race, or religion.

A quick read but very enthralling – highly recommended. It is also still available to request on NetGalley (correct at the time of writing).

What do you think you’ll read next?
