Review
It’s only 4th November but I’ve already heard many times this week: “But it’s only November!”. I don’t care. I love Christmas. It’s my favourite time of the year. I am going to hold off most of my Christmas posts until 1st December but this one cannot wait – and for good reason.
I’d like to introduce you to Elma the Elf and the Tinsel-Tastic Sled Zeppelin – an ADVENT BOOK. Yes, an advent book. Twenty-four chapters, one for each day of December until Christmas Eve.
There is nothing more terrifying than the idea of Santa going missing, but thankfully Elma the Elf is here to save the day, even if she does rub people up the wrong way in the process. This book is a truly fun adventure and brilliantly illustrated.
Carefully interlaced is a reminder of the true meaning of Christmas and a feeling of magic and wonder. It’s not about stuff and things. It’s about coming together and giving people the chances and opportunities they deserve.
Although this book is primarily aimed at children, there is plenty to be enjoyed by the adults too – I am sure the subtle and playful innuendos will not escape their notice. There are some great ‘laugh out loud’ moments which just adds to its charm.
Ditch the chocolate this year and come together to enjoy this wonderful advent book*.
