Unboxing and Review: Page Anchor [Bookish item]

This post is not sponsored. I am in no way affiliated with Page Anchor and this item was gifted to me by a relative.

For Christmas, I was fortunate enough to receive a stunning Page Anchor from a relative. It was something I’d put on my wish list, but I didn’t expect to find one amongst my gifts. But I am so, so glad and grateful that I did!

So what is a Page Anchor? It’s a bookmark but one that prevents your book from closing, meaning you can read hands-free. There are many scenarios in which you may want to read hands-free (new parents, study, travel), but my main motivator is that it allows me to eat and read at the same time. My two favourite pastimes brought together in one happy family!

Let’s take a look inside the box…

I opted for the Page Anchor in rose gold, however, if that’s not your style, it’s also available in platinum, gold, and black. It comes with a soft velvet pouch to keep it safe when not in use. It’s a very solid, heavy item, and would take some effort to damage. It’s extremely well made with smooth edges.

Also inside the box is a super soft cleaning cloth to wipe away any fingerprints (although I have to say its fairly fingerprint resistant), a user guide, and an ever important reminder to BREATHE.

To use the Page Anchor, you slide the tines a few pages back and the anchor holds the page you are on open.

To change page, you simply slide the anchor up (but do not take it out), turn the page, and slide it back down again. The design means that it does not damage the spine or pages of your book, leaving it unscathed. This is particularly important to me as I try to keep my books pristine.

I absolutely love my Page Anchor and do not leave home without it. If you or someone you know loves bookish items, I highly recommend this product. It’s beautiful and useful; a wonderful combination.
