Happy Wednesday Everyone!
Welcome back to WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.
Well it’s been a while since I last did a WWW Wednesday. I’ve just about been able to keep up with posting reviews but unfortunately other posts have had to take a back seat for a while.
I’ve been getting some serious reading done recently, but I’ll just focus on what I’ve been reading this week. Book title links take you to Goodreads so you can get it added to your TBR list.
I hope you’re all having a wonderful March! Enjoy.
What is WWW Wednesday?
For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:
- What are you currently reading?
- What have you recently finished reading?
- What do you think you’ll read next?
What are you currently reading?
I’m on a non-fiction mission at the moment, I’ve no idea why, but that’s primarily what’s calling to me. I started reading Melanie Reid’s memoir The World I Fell Out Of, and I have to confess it’s a bit of a hefty book (around 400 pages) and not really holding my attention. So I decided to intersperse it with Critical by Matt Morgan, a memoir of what it is to work in intensive care and the lessons learnt along the way.
What have you recently finished reading?

I pretty much read for two days solid over the weekend and that included the debut novel from Bev Thomas, A Good Enough Mother. It’s a solid psychological thriller – review coming soon!

The other book I read this weekend was Susan Orlean’s The Library Book, which I simply loved. You can see my review here.
What do you think you’ll read next?

I somehow managed to end up with six ARCs all coming out on the same day, so March is going to be a busy one. Next on my list is Jess Kidd’s Things in Jars. I feel like I’ve missed out in the past by not having read any of Jess’ books, but that’s all about to change!

What’s on your TBR list? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to share a link to your own WWW Wednesday.

I can empathise with numerous ARCs publishing on the same day – 4th April perhaps? – as I’m in a similar situation, although not sure it’s quite as many as six but now I daren’t look 😁

It is 4th April! I don’t know whether it’s a coincidence or genuinely a busier date – maybe publishers see it as an opportunity to get books out before Easter, thinking people will be on holiday?

I haven’t read any of Jess Kidd’s books yet either but it looks very interesting and I like the cover, that little detail is enough to intrigue me! Happy reading doll!
