Welcome back!
I hope you’re all having a wonderful Sunday. Today is a special one as this is my 100th blog post! I can’t believe I’ve written 100 already, it seems like no time since I was writing my very first post.
I recently perfected my favourite reading spot, so it seems like a good opportunity to give you a tour.
I hope you enjoy, and don’t forget to let me know in the comments below where your favourite reading spot is!
The Chair
My favourite place to read is at home. I love to sit in my favourite chair, preferably in my most comfortable (and therefore scruffiest) clothes.

This is my set up. As you can see I’ve got a huge chair and foot stool which is perfect for curling up or stretching out, depending on my mood. I might be guilty of the occasional nap in this chair too…! For maximum comfort, I’ve got a huge cushion and a blanket.
I usually write my blog posts in this chair too, so my laptop is always close at hand.
The Footstool
It’s not just any footstool. It’s actually a huge storage space. You would not believe how happy this footstool makes me. It means I can keep a lot of my blogging essentials close to hand along with the books I need to read imminently.

Let’s take a closer look at its contents…

Here I’ve got my blogging diary, notebooks, sticky notes, pens, pencil case, bookmarks and Page Anchor. Oh, and snacks. Obviously.

Next to that I’ve got a huge stack of book catalogues and The Bookseller Buyer Guides, for quick reference. I also have my Kindle (which I forgot to include in the photo!) for those NetGalley reads.
And here’s a closer look at my TBR list for the next couple of months.

Other essentials
No reading place is complete without a favourite mug (or prosecco glass)! This one was a gift from my parents, who also bought a coordinating one for my partner. My drinks of choice are black coffee or decaf tea.

What do you think of my favourite reading spot? Let me know in the comments below, and as always, links to other blogs are welcome here.

So cozy! I am impressed with how many books you can fit in to that foot stool!

I highly recommend it. I forgot to mention in the post that my partner and I lovingly refer to it as ‘the crypt’ because it makes a creepy creaking sound when opened.

lol, those pens are great I use them for adult colouring ๐ Which I love but rarely get the chance to do. Colourful is always good.

Congratulations on your milestone. I, too, love your footstool. Any piece of furniture that can hold a lot of books along with KitKat Bars is terrific. Thanks for the post.

Yay congratulations! ๐
Looks so comfy! I sit on my favourite sofa – blue and squashy. I refuse to sit anywhere else to type.

OMG, that footstool is a thing of beauty. I am swooning over its ample storage and your colorful, beautifully arranged books inside. I don’t have room for a footstool with my overstuffed chair, so I have full-on footstool jealousy right now! Happy 100!!!

Great setup but I don’t think I could stay awake for long in that chair. Looks like you’re going to be busy for the next couple of months if you plan to get through all those books. (I know the feeling.)
