WWW Wednesday – 24th April 2019

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Welcome back to WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

My reading took a bit of a hit this week, despite having five days off work. I’ve been struck down by the most horrendous cold and I’m still getting over it. Let me know in the comments below if you’ve had the misfortune to pick up one of these nasty colds! Nevertheless, I shall persevere.

I hope you’re all having a good week, and don’t forget, tea and cake fixes everything.

What is WWW Wednesday?

For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I kept seeing Little Darlings by Melanie Golding on Twitter, and spent some time deliberating whether to request a copy of it. I decided against it as my May TBR list was (and still is) huge, and a few weeks later it dropped through my letterbox anyway! I’m definitely glad it did, I love most books that come out of HQ and I’ve got a feeling this will be no exception.

What have you recently finished reading?

When I started to feel ill last week this was the only book that was calling to me. And I really, really enjoyed it. You can find my review of Our Life in a Day by Jamie Fewery here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I know I’m way behind on this one but I’m itching to read My Sister, The Serial Killer by Oyinkan Braithwaite. The paperback edition is out in October 2019.

What’s on your TBR list? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to share a link to your own WWW Wednesday.

  1. Another blogger was talking about My Sister, the Serial Killer and absolutely loved it! I can’t wait to see if you feel the same. Right now I’m thinking about seeing if the library got it in and if not asking them to buy it.

  2. Our Life in a Day looks good (and emotional, gah). I’ve been wanting to read My Sister, the Serial Killer as well, but haven’t been able to cram it into my reading schedule yet. Maybe this summer! I hope you enjoy it. Seems like everyone I’ve seen post about it has. 🙂
