WWW Wednesday – 10th July 2019

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Welcome back to WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

I know it has been a while but WWW Wednesday is back! Huzzah!

Let’s get straight into it…

What is WWW Wednesday?

For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

When I arrived home from work yesterday and found Ghost by Illustratus on my doorstep I was elated. It is a collection of illustrated ghost stories and poems. My inner child can’t get enough of this wonderful book. They are ghost stories as I knew them as a child, the type that are passed on through traditional storytelling. I cannot wait to write a full review once I’ve finished reading it.

Alongside these wonderful ghost stories, I am also reading A. L. Kennedy’s The Little Snake which is being released in paperback on 1st August 2019. This is a short read so I’m expecting it to pack a punch.

What have you recently finished reading?

I love a good thriller and I came very close to passing this one up. I’m glad I didn’t. You can read my full review of Angela Clarke’s On My Life here.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’m part of the blog tour for Megan Goldin’s The Escape Room so this is a must-read for the coming week! I’ve already the first chapter and it sounds intriguing, I’m looking forward to getting properly stuck in.
