I purchased my copy of Queenie when it was first published, and I tried several times to get into it and just couldn’t. I decided to give it one last try and have made more progress – huzzah! – and I’m optimistic I’ll actually finish it this time. I recently read and reviewed one of Candice Carty-Williams’ other books as part of Quick Reads 2020.

This is not so much what I think I’ll read next, but what I hope I’ll read next! I’ve just put in a NetGalley request for Robert Dinsdale’s new book Paris by Starlight. I am so excited that he’s releasing a new book because I loved The Toymakers. It was fabulous.
