WWW Wednesday – 5th August 2020

Welcome back to WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

Take care of yourselves and keep reading.

For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

This image is the cover of the book The Quickening by Rhiannon Ward. The background looks like a close up of a grey, painted tree. It has gold painted ivy climbing up it, and occasionally an ivy leaf is replaced by a key. The title and author's name are in a dark blue/grey colour.

I’m part of the forthcoming blog tour for Rhiannon Ward’s The Quickening so thought I should made a start. I absolutely love how this book doesn’t mess around. It’s gone straight into the plot, no fluff. I’m not a fluffy person.

The cover for Blood Moon by Lucy Cuthew has a pink gradient background. There is a splodge of blood in the middle with the book title through it. The authors name is in white text at the bottom.

I read Lucy Cuthew’s Blood Moon in two sittings over the weekend and I loved it. I haven’t stopped gabbering about it. Review is on its way!

The cover of Ashley Poston's book Geekerella has a purple night sky background with stars. There is an orange van with the words 'The Magic Pumpkin' on the side. There is a male driver with green hair. Leaning against the van is a girl in a blue ball gown. She has red hair and glasses, and is looking at her phone. She has one glass slipper on and the other is on the ground. In the bottom left hand corner is a sausage dog wearing a tartan jacket.

How cute is the cover for Geekerella by Ashley Poston? I can’t wait to read this book. I’m craving something light and fun so I hope this delivers.

What’s on your TBR list? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to share a link to your own WWW Wednesday.

Wishing you a bookish week,

Dragonfly
