I received Gloves Off by Louisa Reid over a year ago (sorry Guppy Books 😦 ) but I found it while sorting through my TBR pile and started it a couple of days ago. So far, I absolutely love this book and I can’t wait to do a full review.
I recently featured Secret Suffragette by Barbara Mitchellhill on my Tackling My TBR blog post. This was a fantastic read. I loved that it didn’t shy away from the hardships people faced, such as poverty, starvation, and misogyny. Highly recommended.
The Unreality of Memory & Other Essays by Elisa Gabbert dropped through my letterbox just this morning! I can’t wait to read this book, all I need now is a break in the weather so I’m not so hot and maybe I can focus on reading…
