Christmas Gift Guide 2020 – Graphic Novels

Welcome back

This is the third installment of my Christmas gift guide and today we’re talking graphic novels! Graphic novels are a great option for any reader, but they’re an ideal gift for children, teenagers, and reluctant readers. They’re engrossing and typically do not contain large chunks of text which can put some readers off.

I’ve featured my top ten graphic novels here but you can check out my Bookshop.org lists for more inspiration.

Disclosure: If you buy books linked to my blog, I may earn a commission from Bookshop.org, whose fees support independent bookshops.

My star pick!

Heartstopper – Alice Oseman

This cover is cartoon drawn and shows a ghost in a washing machine. The book is called Sheets and is by Brenna Thummler.

My top pick for children aged 12+

Sheets – Brenna Thummler

My top pick for non-fiction

A Fire Story – Brian Fies

My top pick for adult readers

Persepolis – Marjane Satrapi

Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you are giving or hoping to receive this year.

Wishing you a bookish week,
