WWW Wednesday – 23rd February 2022

Click to clap and let me know you stopped by!

Welcome back to WWW Wednesday. WWW Wednesday is a meme hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words.

I’ve had a fairly decent reading week, getting through a couple of shorter books along with a longer one. I finally seem to be getting my reading mojo back, which has been missing since the start of 2020. Not putting too much pressure on myself though, my goal is to read 12 books this year and if that’s all I read then that’s totally fine.

Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you’re currently reading. Take care of yourselves and keep reading.

For WWW Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

I mentioned to someone recently how excited I am to get back in the garden and start growing my seeds because I find it beneficial for my mental health. They recommended The Well Gardened Mind by Sue Stuart-Smith which is about exactly that. I’ve only just started it but it’s a very soothing and interesting read so far.

I spent a rainy Saturday morning reading Harley Hitch and the Missing Moon by Vashti Hardy. You can find my review here.

My rainy Sunday morning was spent reading The Tide Singer by Eloise Williams. I loved it and you can find out why by reading my review here.

I finished Ariadne by Jennifer Saint and thoroughly enjoyed my first foray into Greek mythology! Which makes my next read no surprise…

Before I’d even finished Ariadne, I contacted Wildfire Books to ask for a review copy of Jennifer Saint’s forthcoming book Elektra – and they came through! The cover is stunning – even more so in real life. I can’t wait to read it.

What’s on your TBR list? Let me know in the comments below and don’t forget to share a link to your own WWW Wednesday.

Wishing you a bookish week,

  1. I really loved Ariadne but haven’t got around to reading Elektra yet. I really love Eloise Williams too and must get hold of the Tide Singer. Hope your reading mojo continues to keep going.
