What I’m Reading Wednesday – 13th July 2022

Click to clap and let me know you stopped by!

Welcome back!

Welcome back to What I’m Reading Wednesday. The original meme is called ‘WWW Wednesday’ hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. However, to make my blog more accessible, I have renamed it ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’.

Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you’re currently reading. Take care of yourselves and keep reading.

What is ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’?

For What I’m Reading Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m just about to start Booth by Karen Joy Fowler. I just need some time, space, and energy to get into it!

What have you recently finished reading?

Over the (hot!) weekend I read three books – Birdsong by Kayta Balen, Stitched Up by Steve Cole, and The Clockwork Queen by Peter Bunzl. I brought all these together in one mini review blog post.

What do you think you’ll read next?

This might sound ridiculous, but it’s so hot at the moment that I’m finding it hard to read for long periods of time, so I picked up Guilty Creatures: A Menagerie of Mysteries edited by Martin Edwards. It’s a series of short stories and perfectly suited to laying awake at 2am wishing it wasn’t so hot.
