What I’m Reading Wednesday – 4th January 2023

Click to clap and let me know you stopped by!

Welcome back!

Welcome back to What I’m Reading Wednesday. The original meme is called ‘WWW Wednesday’ hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. However, to make my blog more accessible, I have renamed it ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’. There are no ‘recently finished’ books in this post because, quite honestly, I’ve not read anything. And that’s OK!

Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you’re currently reading. Take care of yourselves and keep reading.

What is ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’?

For What I’m Reading Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

Tom Felton's memoir Beyond the Wand.

I spent the week or so before Christmas horribly ill with COVID so I decided to treat myself to Tom Felton’s memoir Beyond the Wand. I’ve not managed to get much reading done but so far it’s so good! He’s very honest and it’s hilarious.

What do you think you’ll read next?

Madly, Deeply by Alan Rickman

I can’t believe it has taken me so long to get a copy of Alan Rickman’s diaries, Madly, Deeply, but I finally have it! I’m really looking forward to this unusual read from a badly missed, wonderful actor.

Sad Cypress by Agatha Christie

After rewatching The Death on the Nile and Murder on the Orient Express over Christmas (I just can’t get enough of Kenneth Branagh as Hercule Poirot), I was thinking I’d love to read more Agatha Christie books but I’ve always been put off by not knowing where to start. And then my friend text me to say she was taking part in the Read Christie 2023 challenge, whereby you read one Agatha Christie book every month. January is Sad Cypress, so I’ve got this read to go!
