Welcome back!
Here’s my second monthly round-up of books I bought or borrowed in 2023! A far quiter month than January, I’m trying to be on my best behaviour… but one or two proofs might’ve slipped through the cracks. Oops.

Going Postal – Terry Pratchett
Format: eBook
Purchased or Borrowed: Purchased
Read: In progress
I was feeling really lost with my reading at the start of the month, and although I have read some Terry Pratchett in the deep and distant past, his works has never been one of my favourites. I’m enjoying Going Postal so far; it’s far funnier and light than I remember.

Under the Stars: Europe – Lonely Planet
Format: Hardback
Purchased or Borrowed: Borrowed
Read: Yes
I picked this absolutely gorgeous book up at my local library to find some camping holiday ideas. Unfortunately most of the places featured are so popular they were booked up, but it is still a stunning book to read and provided plenty of inspiration.

Mothered – Zoje Stage
Format: eBook
Purchased or Borrowed: Purchased
Read: No
This was one of the options for the Amazon First Reads selection for February. I have read Stage’s Baby Teeth but have to confess to not remembering it at all. I’m looking forward to reading Mothered but may save it for a holiday.

Elizabeth of York: The Last White Rose – Alison Weir
Format: eBook
Purchased or Borrowed: Purchased
Read: In progress

Collection of Agatha Christie novels
Format: Hardback
Purchased or Borrowed: Purchased
Read: No
I was in one of my favourite secondhand bookshops and spotted this collection of Agatha Christie books for just £1 per book! This has been one of my favourite finds so far.

The Blue Book of Nebo – Manon Steffan Ros
Format: Paperback
Purchased or Borrowed: Borrowed
Read: Yes

The Plantagenets: The Kings that Made Britain – Derek Wilson
Format: Hardback
Purchased or Borrowed: Borrowed
Read: In progress

Kings & Queens: The Real Lives of the English Monarchs – Peter Snow & Ann Macmillan
Format: Hardback
Purchased or Borrowed: Borrowed
Read: No
