What I’m Reading Wednesday – 8th March 2023

Click to clap and let me know you stopped by!

Welcome back!

Welcome back to What I’m Reading Wednesday. The original meme is called ‘WWW Wednesday’ hosted by Sam over at Taking on a World of Words. However, to make my blog more accessible, I have renamed it ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’.

Don’t forget to let me know in the comments what you’re currently reading. Take care of yourselves and keep reading.

What is ‘What I’m Reading Wednesday’?

For What I’m Reading Wednesday you answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What have you recently finished reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

What are you currently reading?

I’m still reading Elizabeth of York: The Last White Rose. It’s pretty long so will take me a few weeks but I’m still enjoying it.

I’ve just started Limberlost by Robbie Arnott, which has been longlisted for The Dylan Thomas Prize, and I’ll be featuring as part of a blog tour soon.

I had only intended to pick up Kings & Queens: The Real Lives of English Monarchs to read about the Plantagenets and the Tudors. However, it’s so well written that I’ve started from the beginning. I’d forgotten how much of this I covered in school!

What have you recently finished reading?

This image shows the book The Blue Book of Nebo by Manon Steffan Ros.

I absolutely loved Manon Steffan Ros’ The Blue Book of Nebo and you can find my review here.

I picked up Alison Weir’s Traitor’s of the Tower at the library, which is a Quick Reads book. It’s a bit grim but helped to solidify some of the connections between the historical figures I’ve been reading about.

What do you think you’ll read next?

I’ll be returning to my Agatha Christie readathon soon with Sparkling Cyanide, which is the April book for Read Christie 2023.
